Currently, only one rink has a 6 and under program in the Tampa Bay area. Most only have an 8U and includes ages eight down to five years old. A 6U program is great for the little tikes that are just learning to skate and want to start playing at a young age. They will mainly play cross-ice games with small nets to begin the season. They will focus on developing better skating techniques, stickhandling, shooting, and having fun. This is a great place for your youngster to start learning.
