Advent Health Center Ice is the largest ice facility in the Southeast! With over 150,000 square feet, our five-rink complex includes three North American standard National Hockey League (NHL) ice rinks, one Olympic/International standard ice rink, and one mini-rink. Each of the NHL rinks can be converted to a dry floor. Advent Health Center Ice offers a variety of programs that suit all ages. Programs range from ice hockey and figure skating to curling and private events. We also offer sports performance and recovery services and are the home to the Global Prospects Academy, providing in-house educational curriculum with an advanced hockey training program. The facility also includes a wide range of amenities and services, including a pro shop, full-service restaurant, concession stand, skate center (rentals & repair), fitness center, indoor sprint track, conference and party rooms, and offices….

Learn to Skate
Our Learn to Skate program offers upbeat and interactive classes that provide the fundamentals for recreational or competitive figure skating and ice hockey. We follow a structure that promotes skill development to help the athletes progress to figure skating or hockey. Offering three main programs, IC’s Snowballs, IC’s Skate School, and IC’s Hockey Superstars 101, we strive to help our skaters achieve their goals. Lastly, we follow the Learn to Skate USA nationally recognized program that is endorsed by US Figure Skating and USA Hockey.
From the first steps on the ice to mastering advanced techniques, and from children to adults, our program offers a curriculum for everyone. Our Learn to Skate program offers a dynamic system where athletes progress at their own rate and focus on development based on the ABCs of basic athleticism: Agility, Balance, Coordination, and Speed. Upon completion of the program, athletes can confidently advance to more focused areas of skating.
Learn to Play
Our IC’s Hockey Superstars program is the bridge between our Learn to Skate Series and our Rec League. Once your athlete knows the fundamentals of ice skating and they are ready to start incorporating a stick and puck, they can head into our Hockey Superstars program. This program is designed to introduce the basic hockey skills and to prepare them for the next level.
Youth Hockey Program
AdventHealth Center Ice is a place where ice hockey players from around Tampa Bay will test their skills. Whether you are new to the sport or looking to join a league, there are numerous youth programs available at our facility. We offer a multitude of youth ice hockey programming to ensure that there is something for every age and skill level. From Rec League to Hockey Camps and Hockey Clinics, getting into the sport of hockey is easy with AdventHealth Center Ice!
Our in-house Rec Hockey program has 22 teams ranging from U8-U18. Each hockey season runs for 4 months, with practices and games on weekends here at AHCI. This program is perfect for those athletes who are ready to take their skills to the ice in a game format.
Current costs range from $350-$665 per season based on age group and when you sign up. (They have an early bird special) Goalies only pay $225 for any age.
Camps and Clinics
AdventHealth Center Ice takes the normal Ice Hockey Camps and Clinics and adds elite coaching and skills-specific drills that will help the athlete improve their game and take it to the next level. Whether you play forward, defense or goalie, our ice hockey camps and clinics are an effective way to improve many aspects of your game. We offer camps and clinics throughout the year that focus on strengthening skating, shooting, stick handling, checking, and goalkeeping.
Global Prospects Academy (GPA)
The Global Prospects Academy (GPA) is an elite development hockey academy based in Tampa, FL. The Hockey Academy features the highest levels of training in the disciplines of ice hockey, ice skating, and sports performance/recovery, accompanied by an educational curriculum partnership designed to meet the unique needs of elite competitive athletes.
Global Prospects Academy encompasses ice hockey training platforms for ages 8 to 17, not only attracting athletes from the local/regional community but from international destinations. Adult Hockey Program
AdventHealth Center Ice is not only a place for young athletes to learn how to place ice hockey; it is also a place where adults can get back into the game they once loved or for new adult players to learn the game. We other a variety of Adult Hockey Programs that serve all skill levels.
Our in-house Adult Hockey program has several divisions based on the players skill level. We have a Beginner League, D League, C League and a A/B League.
