Being the next step in any child’s hockey development, the 14U division moves participants from a play-to-learn mindset to a learn-to-play mindset. At this level, players will continue to improve their hockey skills, including skating, passing, stick handling, and game awareness.
The 14U level is where many kids lose interest if they are in travel hockey as checking begins. If you and your kid don’t want to be involved in checking, they can play in an in-house league. There are many great in-house leagues across the area, although many have 14U and 16U combined. Click on the rink logos below to be taken to their in-house program.
